Job description
We are now looking for a Section Manager for our automation business in Umeå! Here you get the opportunity to take over a well-functioning business with established customer relationships, competent employees and a stable project business that stands on a strong foundation.
In the role of Section Manager, you have overall responsibility for your business, where you lead and further develop a team of about 30 automation engineers and specialists. Your mission will be to manage and strengthen the culture and structure that already exists, while driving continued development of both employees and business. Through a present and engaging leadership, you create the conditions for well-being, performance and long-term competence development in the group.
The role involves close cooperation with customers in the industry in the local area where you, together with your team, deliver qualified automation solutions and project business. With a clear business responsibility, you work actively to nurture and develop existing customer relationships, while identifying new opportunities in the region.
As section manager, you are responsible for the section's results, project deliveries and profitability, as well as for areas such as strategy, recruitment and skills supply. You operate in a larger context within AFRY and collaborate with other managers and business units to continue to develop the business in the region and in Sweden.
The work is mainly done on site at our offices or at the client, but can be partly combined with work from home if necessary.
Qualifications

You are business-minded and have an understanding of what it takes to run a profitable project business. At the same time, you are curious and forward-looking, with the ability to see opportunities for further development and improvement. You thrive in a role where you get to combine structure and long-term thinking with an operational commitment in everyday life.
