In the role of Section Manager (Service Area Manager) Plant Design Piteå, you have overall responsibility for the section's operations in terms of staff, business, marketing, growth and profitability. Your task will be to lead a long-term sustainable section with high competence and delivery capacity, which includes goal-oriented work with everything from service development, marketing and sales to recruitment and development of our employees. The most important thing is to ensure that our employees thrive and develop through your coaching leadership. Furthermore, you will have a strong focus on taking care of existing customer relationships, creating new business opportunities and developing new contacts.

The section "Plant Design Piteå works mainly with the design and construction of pipes and mechanics in both small and large industrial projects. Our clients are in several industries but mainly in Paper & Pulp and Mining & Steel.

As part of AFRY's office in Piteå, you will have about 60 competent and friendly colleagues. In the role of Section Manager, you will belong to Region North, which stretches from Hudiksvall to Kiruna, and you will be part of the business unit's management team.

As Section Manager, you are driven by challenges and are a business-oriented team player who has expertise and experience in the field of activity. You have a strong desire to continue developing customer relationships and the organization further. In addition to your interest in business, you are also driven to nurture and develop our people. To succeed in the role, you have the ability to create and take opportunities as they come and you see change and development as something positive.
We are looking for you who recognize yourself in the description below:

• You have a technical university education in e.g. Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Design with documented work experience in the field.
• You have experience of leadership and staff responsibility.
• You have experience in sales/business relations and are used to interacting with customers.
• You have previously had budget and profit responsibility.

To be successful in the role, you have an established network in the region that you actively use. You need to be humble and see collaboration as the key to success. As a person, you are self-driven, clear and communicative. You are coaching in your leadership style and have good people skills.
