Job description
Do you want to be involved in shaping the products and solutions of the future in mechanical engineering? AFRY is now looking for a senior mechanical engineer to join our team in Karlshamn. With us, you will have the opportunity to work as a consultant, run exciting projects and contribute with your expertise in an environment where technology and innovation meet.
In the role of senior mechanical designer, you will be a key person in the development of new products. You will be responsible for leading and driving projects all the way from idea to finished product, while acting as a technical expert and support for your colleagues. The work involves developing solutions for our customers' most challenging needs and ensuring that the projects are delivered both on time and with high quality.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have around five years of experience in mechanical engineering and who are used to working in CAD programs such as Solid Works, Creo or Inventor. You will have a strong technical understanding of mechanical principles, materials and manufacturing methods, as well as experience of leading teams and coaching colleagues. To succeed in the role, you need to be able to express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and you have a university degree in mechanics, mechanical engineering or product development. As part of our recruitment process, we conduct education and background checks. Some assignments may also be security classified, in which case an approved security clearance is required before employment.
