Job description

We are looking for reinforcement in our continued growth. We have a strong and competent construction team at our office in Västerås but we need more! We want you, together with our other employees, to help develop our construction team to the next step. We are looking for you who enjoy developing methods and employees as well as leading the design in some of our design assignments.

To succeed in the role of senior electrical designer, you need to have solid experience in electrical design and a deep knowledge of electrical systems, circuit diagrams and drawing standards. You should be well versed in the use of CAD programs to create technical drawings and have an in-depth understanding of the latest technical and safety standards in the industry.

Right now we are looking for you to work from our office in Västerås.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a civil or university engineering degree with a focus on Electrical Power. You have many years of experience in the electric power industry, preferably in power supply for railways. You also have a solid knowledge of the structure of the electric power system and an understanding of how the system behaves in normal and abnormal operating modes. If you have detailed knowledge of rectifier and converter stations for railway power supply (tramway and railway), it is a merit.

As a person, we believe that you are analytical and have good problem-solving skills. We also believe that you are driven, committed and naturally customer-focused. Of course, you are results-oriented and passionate about doing business in the rail industry.
