In the role of senior electrical design engineer, you will take overall responsibility for the electrical design in our projects, from the concept phase through to final delivery. You will be a key member of the project team and will work to develop and quality-assure solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards.   In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will also serve as a sub-project manager, which means you will plan, coordinate, and monitor the work within your area.   You’ll maintain close contact with both internal and external stakeholders, ensure that schedules and budgets are adhered to, and help ensure that the project is delivered to a high standard.   The role combines technical expertise with leadership and communication skills, and you’ll have the opportunity to influence both the details and the big picture of our projects. 

We are looking for someone with solid experience in electrical design in industrial projects and who is accustomed to workingwith various design tools and relevant standards.

Requirements 

Work Experience: 

  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design within industrial process or production facilities

Knowledge/Education: 

  • Relevant formal education in electrical engineering, electrical design, or electrical power engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong knowledge of documentation tools, as well as the ability to handle and understand various customers’ requirements and documentation systems

Language Skills: 

  • Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable  Work Experience: 

  • Experience working on projects, preferably in a leadership role within industrial projects
  • Experience delegating tasks to junior colleagues on the project team
  • Experience with automation projects related to industrial drive systems
  • Process experience from the steel and engineering industries as well as energy production

Education: 

  • Engineering degree in electrical engineering, electrical design, or electrical power with an industrial focus

System knowledge: 

  • Elprocad 
  • EPLAN 
  • Sitebase 
  • AutoCAD Electrical
