Within the business area Environment, AFRY offers qualified consulting services in contaminated areas and environment & sustainability. At the office in Karlstad, we are 10 environmental consultants in a mixed environmental section that works with, among other things, environmental permit issues, EIA, water investigations, environmental soil surveys, risk assessments, nature inventories, nature investigations and as environmental support to municipalities and environmentally hazardous activities. We work on behalf of clients in both the private and public sectors. With our broad environmental expertise, we also support other business areas such as industry, energy and infrastructure within AFRY.

We have a great demand for our services in contaminated areas and therefore want to strengthen our team with you who are an experienced environmental consultant in contaminated areas.

As part of our team, you will play a central role in leading assignments or being part of an expert or administrator. You will work closely with our clients to identify, assess and manage environmental risks. Business acumen is important and you will work on assignments from tender stage to implementation and reporting. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues both locally and nationally in the field to help create sustainable solutions for the environment.

Within AFRY there is the opportunity to help drive technology development nationally in our various technology areas where contaminated areas have their own technology network.

Qualifications

To succeed well and thrive in your role, we are looking for you who have:

• University or college degree in the environmental field
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience working with contaminated areas
• Experience in running assignments in the role of assignment manager or project manager
• B driving license

It is meritorious if you have your own customer contacts and can contribute with references from previous work

It is also meritorious if you have experience in any of the areas of risk assessment, main studies, action investigation or remediation.
