At AFRY in Gothenburg and Varberg, we have a very high and broad competence in Industrial IT and Automation that is niched within ABB 800xA with about 20 automation engineers. Now we need even more!"

The section consists of knowledgeable and committed colleagues where experience and knowledge sharing is a strong part of the culture. We are looking for an experienced systems engineer with a DCS background. In addition to modernizing today's industry, we work both with maintenance organizations and in all project phases from feasibility studies to implementation and support for several different industries. For the right person, there are great opportunities for individual development.

You will work with system upgrades, systeming, installation and configuration of server-based automation systems (primarily ABB 800xA). Our project deliveries are done through expert services as well as complete functional or total commitments. For this position we offer flexible location.

Qualifications

In terms of experience, we believe that you recognize yourself in the following description:

  • Engineer, technician or equivalent with several years of experience in industry and automation and solid competence in ABB 800xA at system level.
  • Experience in Windows technology, networking and installations of DCS systems.
  • Experience in virtualization (Esxi, HyperV).
  • Experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Have a B driving license as travel occurs as a natural part of the service.
  • Master both Swedish and English very well in both speech and writing.

Additional skills:

  • Knowledge/experience of NIS2.
  • Knowledge of system hardening.
  • Experience of application programming in 800xA.
  • Experience with older ABB families such as Advant systems, Sattline etc.
  • Experience/certification in 800xA SHC/Advanced services.

The position may require you to be able to work in our security classified projects. This means that a security clearance is conducted according to Swedish legislation on security protection. In order to fulfill the requirements, you need to hold a citizenship that complies with the Security Protection Regulation, and there must be no obstacles according to the criteria for security class
