AFRY has Nordic roots with global reach. Our common principles - Result driven, Client centric, Empowering and Accountable - guide us in how we work, develop and succeed together.

Job description

AFRY is one of the leading players in civil engineering in the Nordic region and thanks to our unique breadth, we are proud to deliver the infrastructure solutions of the future together with our colleagues from other technology areas.

Now we are looking for a committed leader for our civil engineering section in Dalarna!

As a Service Area Manager with us, you will have a role with great variety, the opportunity for many contacts and customer meetings with responsibility for achieving successful and sustainable business. You are responsible for the entire section's operations, including strategies, profitability, marketing, quality, personnel and skills development. You combine your managerial role with also working some time as a consultant, preferably as an assignment manager, project manager or technology specialist.

The section currently consists of about 20 employees. You report to the regional manager and sit on the region's management team. The region consists of just over 300 employees and extends geographically from Borlänge in the south to Kiruna in the north.

The location can be Falun, Borlänge or Mora.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are passionate about team development, satisfied customers and have a great interest in the section's services!

For this role, we see that you have many years of experience in the industry, are a fan of doing business and are well versed in the issues of the technology area. We prefer you to have work experience as a consultant, but if you have worked on the contractor or client side, this is also interesting. Basically, you have a relevant further education and a great interest in technology and civil engineering.

You have previously demonstrated good leadership and can naturally engage and motivate. We see that you have good social skills and like to be challenged both technically and in terms of business and leadership. You are a relationship builder and it is a great advantage if you have an established network in the industry. Of course, you like to collaborate and you enjoy sharing your knowledge with both customers and colleagues. Furthermore, you are driven by working in international teams. For this role, we therefore expect you to have a good command of both Swedish and English and to be able to express yourself easily in speech and writing.

We offer a workplace and a team that can best be described as professional, businesslike and who have fun together!
