Job description

As Service Area Manager within Energy Management in Gothenburg, you have overall responsibility for leading, developing and growing the service area - both business-wise and organizationally. The role combines strategic leadership with operational work in assignments and involves close collaboration with clients, employees and colleagues within AFRY.

In the role, you are responsible for developing the business in energy efficiency and energy services, focusing on profitability, quality and long-term customer relationships. You lead and coach an experienced team with good cohesion and varied backgrounds, while at the same time being active in assignments and in marketing work.

The work is varied and includes:

• Responsibility for the service area's performance, growth and business development
• Management, development and coaching of employees
• Active market and customer work, including additional sales
• Participation in and/or management of assignments in energy efficiency
• Strategic work linked to the service area's long-term development

You have access to support from the line manager, section manager colleagues and AFRY's joint support functions. The role offers good opportunities to influence, develop the business and eventually take on even greater responsibility within the organization.

Qualifications

The role requires:

• A minimum of 10 years of technical experience in energy efficiency or related field
• Documented leadership experience, for example as a manager or in another leading role
• Master's degree in energy engineering or equivalent
• Good ability to work in a businesslike and result-oriented manner
• Very good communication skills in Swedish in speech and writing

Additional qualifications for the role are:

• Certified energy mapper
• Experience working as a consultant
• Experience in sales, business development and marketing
• Experience in assignments for the public sector, property owners or industry
