About the role

In the role of Service Area Manager Food Processing, you have profit and personnel responsibility for a team of 21 employees. The team has a broad and deep experience in food production, with excellence in process technology, project management and food safety. You will work with knowledgeable and committed colleagues, including experts with key competencies in developing both recipes and production processes.

We run projects that in various ways contribute to accelerating the transition towards more sustainable food and food production - for example, by helping our customers scale up their operations, build new production facilities or streamline and digitize existing processes.

The role gives you great freedom and responsibility, as well as good opportunities for development in a stimulating environment where business, technology and sustainability go hand in hand.

You will be an important part of our business unit's management team, where we together have a strong focus on further developing and leading a long-term sustainable organization with high competence and delivery capacity, which includes goal-oriented work with everything from service development, marketing and sales to recruitment and development of our employees.

Location is flexible, as the role involves staff in both Malmö and Stockholm.

Qualifications

For this position, we look for you to have many years of experience in the food industry, be a fan of doing business and be well versed in the challenges of the food industry. You have a proven track record of leadership and are a natural communicator and motivator. We value that you have a large network of contacts in the food industry and experience of production and investment projects.

  • An engineering or science degree in chemistry, biotechnology, food technology or similar relevant field.
  • Deficient experience from the food industry, preferably with experience from leading roles in the food, process or biotechnology industry
  • You may preferably have run investment projects both in Sweden and internationally.
  • Ability to express yourself fluently in English and Swedish, in both speech and writing.
  • Work experience in a leading position
  • Experience in consulting
  • Good insight into certifications, hygiene requirements and regulatory issues in food production.
  • Strong commitment and drive
