Company description

AFRY offers services in engineering, design, digitalization and consulting. We are dedicated experts in industry, energy and infrastructure, creating value for future generations. AFRY has a global reach with deep roots in the Nordics. Together, we are accelerating the transition to a more sustainable society.

Job description

AFRY has been active in the Swedish nuclear power industry since the first reactors were built in Sweden, and we are currently one of the Swedish nuclear power industry's most important partners. We run assignments in all phases of nuclear power - from new construction and modernization to lifetime extension, dismantling and demolition.

We are now looking for a Service Area Manager for the nuclear power industry, based in Oskarshamn or Kalmar.

As a Service Area Manager, you will work with everything from sales, marketing, recruitment and business development. You have great opportunities to shape and develop both you and your section. You will be responsible for staff, work environment and results. If it is suitable for the business, the role may also mean that you run your own consulting assignments part-time. The assignments that our consultants are involved in are mainly run on site at our customers but also "in-house" in our own premises.

In addition to the role of Service Area Manager, an assignment as Key Account Manager may also be relevant, with responsibility for one of our customers in the local area. You will be part of an already established KAM team with clear routines and a well-distributed responsibility structure around the customer relationship.

You will have strong support from your immediate manager and also fine support and cooperation with other managers within the business unit, as well as locally within AFRY. Together you solve clients' needs by appointing the right team with the right skills.

The group currently has about 10 employees and a number of sub-consultants, in total we are about 200 people in the business unit. Travel in the service occurs, mainly to meet our customers but also for participation in internal meetings and management team meetings.

As Service Area Manager in Nuclear, you will be part of the management team for AFRY's Swedish nuclear power business. We are currently a total of 8 service areas, geographically distributed between Solna, Uppsala, Oskarshamn, Malmö, Varberg and Gothenburg.

Qualifications

We attach great importance to your personal qualities and your potential to develop as a manager here at Nuclear.   Because if we find the right match, we believe that you will both thrive and make a difference with us at the same time!

The first and perhaps most important thing is that you are a person who likes to create relationships in different contexts. Partly because we believe in a personal leader, but also because good relationships with our customers are a prerequisite for successful collaborations both in the short and long term.

Equally important is the ability to see business opportunities and to be able to act on these with both balance and a long-term approach. For this to be possible, strategic thinking about what creates value, natural networking and basically a large measure of personal maturity are required.

We believe that this combination is the key to success.

Requirements

  • Experience working in the energy industry
  • Experience in a managerial/leadership role
  • B driving license

Advantageous:

  • Experience of working in nuclear power
  • Experience of other industries with high demands on safety and quality
  • Experience of consulting business
  • Experience of sales work

In this role, it is also necessary that you master Swedish and English well, both in speech and writing.

Further information

If you move forward in this recruitment process, we will use tests as a step in identifying your potential. That is, how well you match the parts of the requirements profile that deal with personal qualities and problem-solving skills. The tests also help us to ensure a more accurate and fair recruitment process.

As the position operates in security classified areas, you may undergo drug tests and security checks. For all recruitments at AFRY, an ID check, reference checks and verification of education are always carried out as a basis.

Other information

At AFRY, we believe that joy in life contributes to better performance. We want to be an employer that suits all stages of life and values work-life balance.
