Job description
As our former Service Area Manager for the HVAC and Sprinkler section in Alingsås has moved on to new challenges within the company, we are looking for a new Service Area Manager who wants to be part of the continued development of AFRY.
At AFRY in Alingsås, we are currently just over 25 employees in the office from different technical branches. Within the HVAC & Sprinkler section, we are 16 colleagues, located both in Alingsås and in Borås. We work mainly with plumbing and are active in all stages from feasibility studies / investigations, via design to construction inspections, etc.
As a Service Area Manager with us, you get a role with great variety, the opportunity for many contacts and customer meetings with the responsibility to achieve successful and sustainable business. You are responsible for the entire section's operations, including strategies, profitability, marketing, quality, personnel and skills development. You see and hear your colleagues and help them grow. Managing and developing your people is an important part of your work, where you are expected to exercise modern and coaching leadership that builds teams and clarifies the common goals of the business. You will combine your managerial role with operational work in assignments as an assignment leader or specialist.

Qualifications
We would like to see that you are a university engineer or have an equivalent education from construction/energy/installation, or you have acquired equivalent knowledge in working life. We are looking for you who have good experience of working as a consultant, contractor or client in plumbing design. You are an experienced plumbing consultant (at least 5-10 years) and have an interest in installation, construction and sustainable building. You can easily understand and participate in technical discussions and thrive in a fast-paced environment characterized by strong growth. We would like you to have experience in turnkey project design. Even though we are an international company, you need to master the Swedish language in both speech and writing to meet our customers' needs. You are easy to share your knowledge and can explain in an educational way, both to customers and colleagues. You are a relationship builder and it is a great advantage if you have or have started to build a network in the industry. As a person, you are curious and interested in your technical field, which is what drives and energizes you. Of course, you see yourself as a team player and are driven to constantly develop. You like challenges and have a natural aptitude for creating long-term and sustainable relationships with customers and colleagues. If you are also a person who enjoys working in an environment with strong growth, you have found the right one!
