Would you like to be part of shaping the future of Advisory within Energy & Sustainable Building?
We are looking for a driven, committed Service Area Manager for our Energy & Sustainable Construction within our Service Area Advisory based in Malmö. You will have a strategic and operational responsibility for developing the service area with a focus on energy issues, sustainability, innovation and interdisciplinary collaborations. The Service Area Manager has overall responsibility for the local operations and is a key person in ensuring that both employees and assignments have the right conditions. The role combines operational leadership with strategic responsibility and collaboration, and is central to driving development within AFRY Places both locally and in a broader context.

You will lead a team of dedicated specialists and project managers/assignment managers who work to integrate sustainability aspects into construction and real estate projects - from early stages to implementation and into management, but also into existing stock. It is about creating buildings and environments that are energy efficient, circular, climate neutral and socially sustainable.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a strong drive to influence the construction industry in a more sustainable direction. To thrive in the role of Service Area Manager with us, we believe that you have great social skills, a high level of business acumen and that you as a person like challenges. You are a committed and organized person who is keen to always do your best.

Furthermore, you are motivated by meeting clients, developing employees and contributing to AFRY's success. You are driven, take initiative and are solution-oriented. You enjoy and have experience of leading and implementing assignments and projects towards set goals.

Hopefully you have experience as a consultant in the construction and real estate industry and have a broad knowledge of the environment, energy and sustainability in general.

We see that you have:

• Experience in leading teams and developing employees.
• Good understanding of environmental certifications, climate calculations, circular material flows and energy issues.
• Ability to combine sustainability with digitalization in practice.
• Business mindset and ability to build long-term customer relationships.

Experience in running large multidisciplinary assignments is an advantage.
