Would you like to be part of shaping the future of Advisory within Energy & Sustainable Building?

Our team within Energy & Sustainable Building in Region South currently consists of about seven dedicated employees who together drive the development towards more climate and resource efficient buildings. We offer advice throughout the construction process - from early stages and strategic choices, to design, implementation and follow-up. We are now looking for a driven, committed Service Area Manager for our Energy & Sustainable Building department based in Malmö.

Because we are part of a larger consulting company with broad building technology expertise, we can take on complex and interdisciplinary assignments together with colleagues from other parts of the organization. We work closely together, learn from each other and value a culture of collaboration, commitment and curiosity.

Our assignments include environmental and energy coordination, recycling and material strategies, as well as work with certifications such as Miljöbyggnad, BREEAM and NollCO₂. We perform energy calculations, climate calculations (LCA), climate declarations, LCC analyses and develop digital calculation tools. The projects range from new construction, refurbishment and advice to property owners and managers in the early stages.

Your role as Service Area Manager

As a Service Area Manager, you will have a strategic and operational role with great responsibility and many contact areas. You lead the group's operations and are responsible for:

• Strategies, profitability and results
• Quality, personal and skills development
• Customer relations and business development

You are a present leader who sees and hears your employees and makes them grow and thrive. The role is combined with your own operational work in assignments, for example as an assignment leader or specialist.

Your managerial role also includes:

• Developing the team in close collaboration with other units in the region and nationally
• Contributing to the long-term development of the business area
• Motivating and further developing the team through modern and coaching leadership
• Building a strong team spirit and creating clarity around goals and direction

We are currently in an expansive phase and are growing in new service areas. Here you will have the opportunity to influence, develop and be a driving force in the change - both for the section, the region and our national initiatives.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of Service Area Manager, we see that you have a solid experience in one or more of the areas of environmental coordination and energy coordination, and that you are well versed in the issues that are central to sustainable construction. It is likely that you have worked in a role with managerial or overall responsibility - for example as a department manager, team leader, team leader or as a senior project/assignment manager.

We believe that you have a relevant university or civil engineering degree, but we also welcome those who have built up equivalent knowledge through experience.

You will bring perspectives from one or more of the following areas:

• Consulting
• Contractor
• Contractor or management organizations

In addition to your technical ability, your leadership is a key factor in the role. We would like to see that you have previously demonstrated that you can:

• Engage, motivate and create the conditions for others to succeed
• Build strong teams and drive collaboration
• Take initiative and act when the situation requires it
