Job description

We help our clients develop smart solutions through electrification, automation and digitization and are currently looking for software developers for our Product Development section in Örebro. Exciting challenges and opportunities are available in the role as a consultant.Because we need to meet our customers' different needs, we are broad in our software development and have many opportunities for you, and are looking for skills in a wide range.

As a software developer with us, you will have the opportunity to develop advanced embedded systems, work with software development in the form of hardware-related programming and applications with our customers in the telecom, automotive, defense, manufacturing and mining industries. You will work on developing embedded systems at the cutting edge of technology in all or part of the development chain, from requirements specification, architecture, design to final verification. 

The role also offers the opportunity to work with several different programming languages and develop test methods and automated tests with a high focus on efficiency, reliability and function

Qualifications

Who are you? 

• You have a very good technical understanding and have experience in one or more programming languages.
• If you have previously worked with cloud development, quality assurance and worked according to agile processes, it is relevant to this role. 
• To succeed in the role, we believe that you have a relevant college or university education in computer science, electronics, embedded systems or similar. 
• You are driven and self-driven and want to continue to develop with us and with our customers in their agile teams. 
• You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing and a B-driving license is a requirement as travel to clients around the region may occur. AFRY has a strong focus on skills development and we offer both internal and external training to enable you to continue to develop in your field.
