Job description

At AFRY Digital Services, we work closely with the market to develop smart, scalable digital solutions - often at the forefront of technology. You will be part of a highly competent team where you have the opportunity to influence the types of assignments you work with, and where we value both technical skill and good cooperation. We often work cross-functionally across teams and competencies, giving you access to a wide network of specialists. In this role, you will work as a full-stack developer with a focus on modern JavaScript/TypeScript solutions and backend development in Node.js. You will work with systems that handle complex states, which requires structured code, clear architecture and good understanding of state management, where your technical expertise in both frontend and backend comes in handy. The role involves new development/further development of existing systems. There is a strong emphasis on designing and building solutions that are sustainable, secure and future-proof - often in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS or GCP. 

Our assignments are generally long-term and often close to the customer's business, giving you the opportunity to work with real business value and see the impact of what you build.  

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, we look for you to have: 

• At least 4 years of experience in system development with NodeJS TypeScript/JavaScript and React.  
• Worked in several different types of projects and are confident in building well-structured systems that handle complex states. 
• Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, GCP and/or AWS). 
• Experience with DevOps work and CI/CD flows with, for example, Azure Devops or GitHub Actions. 
• Experience with databases such as SQL/No-SQL, preferably using ORM tools such as Prisma  
• Relevant university education in IT, systems science or similar  
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing. 
• Possibility to work 2-3 days on site at the office in Malmö  

We are looking for you who are collaboration-oriented and enjoy working closely with both colleagues and customers. You are self-driven and happy to take ownership of your tasks. With your communication skills, you explain technical concepts in a clear and customized way. You have an analytical approach and enjoy solving complex problems. In addition, you are flexible and adapt easily to change.
