Job Description

Would you like to work in a role where technology, collaboration, and innovation go hand in hand? We are now looking for a Solutions Architect/Senior Developer who wants to help create modern, sustainable, and secure solutions at a government agency responsible for critical infrastructure. You will work in an organization where IT systems play a crucial role in ensuring stability, security, and availability. The focus of the role will be on modern technologies and AI.

With us, you’ll work closely with development teams, DevOps, product owners, and customers in an environment where knowledge sharing, curiosity, and long-term development are highly valued. You’ll be part of an agile team that develops and manages systems with high standards for quality, robustness, and information security. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical depth with collaboration and who wants the opportunity to influence architecture, work methods, and future solutions.

In this role, you will design and implement scalable solutions based on business needs, while also participating in coding, technical decision-making, and architecture discussions. You will also provide technical leadership by supporting the team, driving improvements, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The role also involves engaging with clients and stakeholders to help develop solution proposals and create technical business value.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, we expect you to have:

• At least 5 years of experience in systems development, IT architecture, or technical design
• At least 3–5 years of experience as a solutions architect in large and complex IT environments
• Experience in the energy sector and/or the public sector
• Experience with integration architecture and API-based solutions
• Experience with modern integration platforms and message-based communication
• Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid architectures
• Experience documenting architecture according to established methods and frameworks
• Strong understanding of information modeling and system integration
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English

The following are considered a plus:

• Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and container-based platforms
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven solutions
• Knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate, or equivalent architecture frameworks
• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, BizTalk, Kafka, or similar
• Experience with security-classified operations

We believe you are analytical, structured, and have a strong ability to see the big picture in complex system landscapes. You are a strong communicator and are accustomed to building consensus between business and technology. As a person, you are solution-oriented, a good teacher, and confident in making technical decisions that have a long-term impact on the business.

You have a strong interest in architectural issues and are driven by creating robust, secure, and future-proof solutions that contribute to the business’s development.
