Job description

As a Sprinkler Designer with us, you work with the design of sprinkler systems in varied and often technically complex assignments. The role can be adapted to your experience and drive - from independent designer / administrator to assignment manager with greater responsibility for customer relations, finances and the whole of the assignment.

You will work with everything from calculations, technical descriptions and drawings to coordination in multidisciplinary projects. For those who have - or want to take - an assignment-leading responsibility, there is the opportunity to drive the design, plan resources, follow up finances and ensure quality towards the customer.

Our assignments span both small and large projects, with an emphasis on, among other things, hospital and business-critical environments. You work closely with colleagues locally in Malmö and have access to a national network of sprinkler designers within the organization. The work is mainly done from the office, combined with customer and design meetings.

Qualifications

To succeed and thrive in the role of sprinkler designer with us, we see that you have a solid technical foundation and several years of experience in sprinkler design. You are confident in regulations and working methods and used to working independently in design assignments - either as an administrator / senior designer or in an assignment management role.

We see the following as basic requirements for the position:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in sprinkler design
• Good knowledge of applicable regulations and standards such as SBF, NFPA, FM and Boverket's building regulations
• Experience in design in MagiCad, in AutoCAD and / or Revit
• Relevant technical education, for example HVAC engineer, fire engineer or equivalent work experience
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
• Experience in coordinating sprinkler issues in multidisciplinary projects

In addition, we would like you to bring one or more of the following:

• BIV certification or equivalent
• Experience in the role of project manager, or ambition to take the step there
• Experience from larger or technically complex projects, for example in hospital or mission-critical environments
• Experience in inspection, verification or operational issues linked to sprinkler systems

In addition to the formal competence, we attach great importance to your personal qualities.

As a person, you are structured, responsible and solution-oriented, with the ability to drive your work forward with good quality. You find it easy to collaborate and communicate with both colleagues and customers and can adapt your working methods to the conditions of the project. The role suits you who are confident in your skills, thrive in a consulting role and who want to continue to develop - either towards greater technical responsibility or in a clearer mission-leading role.
