Company description

AFRY is an international company in technology, design and consulting. We accelerate the transition to a sustainable society.

We are 19,000 dedicated experts in the fields of infrastructure, industry, energy and digitization working worldwide to create sustainable solutions for future generations.

Inclusion and diversity - We want to attract people with different backgrounds and perspectives to our organization. Diversity is positive in many ways for us at AFRY. We know that it drives both creativity and innovation.

Job description

Do you think that quality work is just unnecessary, troublesome, costs time and money? Then you can stop reading here because we are looking for you who like quality and recognize concepts such as PPAP, 8D, PFMEA, SPC, R&R, KPI or CAPA and who understand the point of having an established quality management system.

Does it suit you to work cross-functionally, motivate, enthuse and create good relationships with many different contact areas such as quality, purchasing, development and production? Do you like to investigate problems and introduce improvements and do you want to help our customers convert requirements into technical specifications that you convey and follow up with their subcontractors? Do you have a technical background and experience in the manufacturing industry and quality work? Then you might be our new colleague!

As a consultant with us, you will work in assignments such as quality engineer, Product Requirement Engineer or SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer) / SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance) out at our customers. There you will investigate quality problems and deviations in products and materials, carry out root cause analyzes and risk analyses, implement corrective measures and drive improvement work, develop strategies and methods for test and verification and run supplier audits.

Our Specialized Operational Excellence (SOE) business area has approximately 100 employees spread across the country who are divided into three segments; Compliance & Quality Management, Safety & EHS Management and Technical Communication.

In our section, which belongs to the segment with the same name, we are everything from recent graduates to senior consultants with a broad competence in quality, compliance and product safety. We work in various industries such as engineering, MedTech and consumer products, with everything from product development to production and aftermarket.

Requirements specification

You inspire confidence, lack prestige and have the ability to quickly understand contexts in new environments, industries and products. You are looking for a job that is varied, developing, fun and requires action!

We place great emphasis on personal qualities and want you to have the ability to communicate your knowledge and insights to different parts of an organization in an educational way.

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in quality work or requirements of subcontractors in the manufacturing industry
  • a relevant university or civil engineering degree

Of course, you can read a drawing, like to write reports and have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. In addition, if you have already worked as an SQE / SQA or have experience in complaint handling, quality assurance of components and production in the automotive industry or medical technology, that is also a plus.

More information

Our consulting group is characterized by cooperation, openness, professionalism and we are driven by creating added value for our customers. In addition to consulting services, our business area can also offer our customers packaged solutions and products.

We offer a forward-looking workplace and security in the form of collective agreements and staff benefits for all of our employees. Our staff club organizes social activities in and outside the office. Everything from ski trips, singing in a choir to playing board games - there is something for everyone.

We are looking for you who want to be part of AFRY's success story. Are you passionate about technological development? Do you like to collaborate to find the best solution? Then we can offer you career opportunities in a modern workplace with challenging tasks and exciting projects worldwide.
