Job description
Our business is growing and we are looking for Building Designers with a focus on calculation who want to be part of our continued development.
Our building designers have broad and solid expertise and work with assignments in all types of commercial, public and community buildings. The assignments are at all stages, from feasibility studies to construction document design.
As a Responsible Structural Engineer with us, you will play a key role in our projects by leading and quality assuring the calculation work. You are responsible for coordinating and driving the calculation work in the projects forward within given time frames and budgets, while actively sharing your knowledge and experience with the team.
Your main tasks:
- Lead and plan the work within the project's calculation group.
- Compile and document calculation tasks with clear scope, division of responsibilities and schedule.
- Coordinate the calculation work with other administrators and report regularly to the assignment leader.
- Ensure quality through self-checks, audits and documented reviews.
- Participate in external meetings and contribute to good communication with clients and side consultants.
- Identify and report the need for additional calculation work or changed directives.
The location is at our office in Solna or Liljeholmen
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a trained civil engineer and have at least 10 years of experience as a calculation engineer in the design of load-bearing structures in concrete, steel and wood.
You have documented experience of leading technical teams and coordinating calculation work.
You have a good ability to make decisions based on facts and previous experience and are used to working in a structured way with documentation and quality assurance.

For this role, Swedish citizenship and a cleared security clearance are required. Dual nationality is not compatible with the security requirements of the post.
