Job description

As an SQE, you will have the opportunity to work very independently within the area of responsibility.

You will have many contact surfaces, mainly with suppliers in Sweden, Europe and Asia. You collaborate internally with production, purchasing, engineering and projects.

 

In the position, it is central to ensure that suppliers maintain quality as well as delivery performance. This is done through proactive work together with the suppliers.

This can e.g. mean that:

 

  • Enforcing customer quality against supplier
  • Ongoing meetings with suppliers, and investigations
  • Audits
  • Risk analysis and PFMEA
  • Driving and managing PPAP for supplier
  • Working on developing suppliers and supplier relationships
  • Managing supply chain deviations
  • CAPA
  • Reviewing drawings and standards

 

The position also includes developing cooperation with suppliers proactively so that they have the capacity to meet the client's requirements and expectations.

You need to have an understanding of suppliers' challenges and be able to communicate in a business-like manner to maintain good relationships with suppliers' management.

Qualifications

We would like you to have a specialization in quality or other relevant education.

Different specializations in the role may be relevant and if you have experience in electronics, casting or welding, this is meritorious.

The customer has standardized and also own requirements that you need to be receptive to learning in order to succeed in your mission.

To thrive in the role, you are expected to take a great deal of responsibility. You have a systematic and structured way of working, are driven and take independent initiative for action and follow-up.

You are a person with good communication skills who finds it easy to create good relationships as you will have many different contact surfaces both within the company and with suppliers.

You have the skill to build and develop long-term business relationships and yet be encouraging and challenging in your mission to support suppliers in their process and improvement work.

 

As many contacts can be international, you need to have a good knowledge of Swedish as well as English, both in speech and writing.

 

Location: Umeå / Vindeln

Hybrid solution only in consultation with the customer

 

Travel will be part of the service so you need to be travelable.
