We are now looking for SQM/SQE on behalf of a client. As an SQM or SQE, you will have the opportunity to work very independently in areas of responsibility such as mechanics, electronics and systems. You will have many contacts, mainly with suppliers in Sweden and Europe, but also collaborate internally with engineering, purchasing, production and other quality functions.

In the service, it is central to ensure good quality through proactive work with suppliers. This may involve, for example:

  • Planning and conducting audits
  • Product checks, complaints and deviation management
  • Requiring quality in quotes and contracts
  • Risk analyses
  • Working to develop suppliers and supplier relationships

The position may also include investigations when a deviation has occurred. This means, among other things, requesting and evaluating quality and deviation reports from suppliers and developing cooperation with suppliers for preventive purposes so that they have the capacity to meet the customer's requirements and expectations.

A number of trips per year are included in the service.

Qualifications

Suitable education is a civil engineer or university engineer with a few years of work experience or equivalent acquired experience from working life.

It is meritorious if you have any of the following experience:

  • ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or EN9100
  • 8D, Six Sigma, RCA, FMEA.
  • APQP/PPAP
  • IPC-610, IPC-620 and IPC-640
  • FAI (First Article Inspection), according to EN9102

You should have practical experience of quality work in the manufacturing industry and it is meritorious if you come from the automotive industry. As many of the customers are international, you need to have good knowledge of English, both in speech and writing.

To thrive in the role, you are expected to take great personal responsibility. You have a systematic and structured way of working, are driven and take independent initiatives for action and follow-up. You are a person with good communication skills who can easily build good relationships as you will have many different interfaces both within the company and with suppliers. You will have the skills to build and develop long-term business relationships and yet be encouraging and challenging in your mission to support suppliers in their process and improvement work.

The position requires you to undergo and pass a security clearance, in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

Swedish citizenship is a requirement for this position.
