Do you want to work with the whole world but at the same time have a secure connection in a wonderful team with other specialists where everyone contributes with valuable skills, experience and joy?

We are now looking for an SQM or SQE on behalf of a client who wants to join an exciting journey in the defense industry. As an SQM or SQE you will have the opportunity to work very independently in areas of responsibility such as mechanics, electronics, systems or IMC (Non Metallic Materials). You will have many interfaces, mainly with suppliers in Sweden and Europe, but also collaborate internally with engineering, purchasing, production and other quality functions.

In the service, it is central to ensure good quality through proactive work with suppliers. This can, for example, mean:

• Planning and conducting audits
• Product checks, complaints and deviation management
• Requiring quality in quotes and contracts
• Risk analysis
• Working to develop suppliers and supplier relationships

The position also includes investigations when a deviation has occurred. This includes requesting and evaluating quality and non-conformity reports from suppliers and developing cooperation with suppliers for preventive purposes so that they have the capacity to meet the client's requirements and expectations.

A number of trips per year are included in the service.

Qualifications

We would like you to have a specialization in quality or other relevant education. It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, DMAIC, Six Sigma, RCA, MSA, FMEA, etc.

You should have practical experience of quality work in the manufacturing industry and it is advantageous if you come from the automotive industry. As many of our customers are international, you need to have good knowledge of English, both in speech and writing.

To thrive in the role, you are expected to take great responsibility. You have a systematic and structured way of working, are driven and take independent initiatives for action and follow-up. You are a person with good communication skills who can easily build good relationships as you will have many different interfaces both within the company and with suppliers. You have the skill to build and develop long-term business relationships and yet be encouraging and challenging in your mission to support suppliers in their process and improvement work.

The position requires you to undergo and pass a security clearance, in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

Swedish citizenship is a requirement for this position.
