Do you want to work with complex technical systems that really make a difference? AFRY is now looking for system integrators who want to contribute to robust and secure IT solutions in socially important and technology-intensive environments.

About the role

As a system integrator with us, you work with the integration, configuration and commissioning of advanced IT systems in environments where the requirements for security, stability and precision are high. The role involves technical detective work - understanding the whole, solving problems and making different system components work together.

The work takes place close to development, testing, customers and external suppliers, and you may work both in offices, in test facilities or at customer sites. Travel within Sweden may occur.

The position is security classified, which means that security clearance and Swedish citizenship are required.

Your duties

Depending on the assignment, the duties may include:

• integration and configuration of software, hardware and networks
• commissioning and troubleshooting in Linux and/or Windows environments
• working in security-critical and hardened IT environments
• analysis and investigations related to IT and information security
• verification of system solutions and technical components
• documentation of changes, configurations and decisions
• collaboration with development, test, architecture and customer

Qualifications

Who we think you are

We are looking for you who have:

• technical university or civil engineering background (or equivalent experience)
• at least 3 years' experience in systems integration or similar role
• good knowledge of Linux, networking and system administration
• experience in troubleshooting and deployment in complex environments
• ability to analyze and structure technically advanced problems
• good communication skills in Swedish and English

Additional competencies

It is a plus if you have experience of:

• IT security, PKI, firewalls or log management
• virtualization, container technology or OpenStack
• automated installations and CI/CD tools
• Python, Bash or PowerShell
• working in security-critical, governmental or defense-related environments
