Job Description

Are you a self-employed professional with extensive experience in systems integration and Linux environments? Would you like to take on an exciting assignment within the Swedish defense industry—but without having to run it as your own business? We offer project-based employment with us, which gives you the assignment, the security, and the opportunity to focus on what you do best.

We have an ongoing need for skilled integrators and systems engineers for assignments involving safety-critical IT infrastructure for the Swedish defense sector. You will work with integration, deployment, and security solutions in Linux and Windows environments, often in close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and end users. The assignments span the various phases of the project, with an emphasis on early phases such as system integration and changes to communication and security solutions. Travel is required, mostly within Sweden.

Qualifications

You are self-motivated, responsible, and enjoy working closely with clients and technical teams. You have a college degree in computer science, networking, or equivalent experience, and at least 3–8 years of relevant work experience (we are seeking candidates at various levels). You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements

  • Swedish citizenship (required for security clearance)
  • Fluent in spoken and written Swedish
  • Solid Linux skills (administration, troubleshooting, hardening)
  • Experience with network management and basic IT security
  • Bash scripting
  • Python scripting
  • Experience with virtualization and deployment
  • Version control (Git)
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Preferred

  • Automation with Ansible
  • Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)
  • VPN configuration
  • Log management (ELK, Splunk)
  • Certifications (RHCSA, LPIC, CISSP)

Additional Information

You will work in interesting fields and environments with a variety of tasks. Your professional development is a priority, and we will strive to find the role that best suits you and your career path. You’ll be part of a successful global company and work alongside inspiring and dedicated colleagues. We view every employee as a vital piece of the puzzle in our shared success and actively work to create a stimulating and enjoyable work environment through personalized leadership. Above all, we have fun together!
