Job description

As a systems engineer, you will work with electronics and electrical systems in vehicle development. 

You will work on analyzing and realizing system requirements and defining how the vehicle system should be designed using concept studies, system definition and system design. The role of a systems engineer involves taking ownership of capability, function and/or attribute...

Whatever functional area you take on, you will be a key person in the development of our vehicle systems. You will coordinate the handling of complex technical issues and lead your functional group throughout the project in close collaboration with senior designers and specialists.

Examples of tasks: 

• Ensure that the functionality is realizable and that the design is fit for purpose. 
• Ensure that the developed solution meets both customer and internal requirements.
• Identify  risks, plan  tests, simulations and calculations and ensure that they are carried out to quality assure the system design.

Qualifications

We believe that you are a civil engineer in, for example, mechatronics, electronics or computer engineering, or have another relevant educational background for the role.

As a person, you are a driven person with the ability to see the big picture in design and architecture issues. You understand how a system is built and base your analysis on facts and data. You are analytical and understand how changes to the underlying system have an impact on other systems and other attributes important to the product.

For us, it is meritorious if your main competence is in software, electronics and/or networks and experience of working at system level for complex systems. If you have previous experience of Systems Engineering (SE), or experience from the automotive industry, it is extra meritorious.

You have good presentation and documentation skills in speech and in writing, both in Swedish and in English.

As the position involves work that is covered by defense secrecy, it is required that you complete and pass a security check with register check.
