Job description

We are looking for an experienced systems engineer who wants to be a key person in the development of advanced technical systems for our clients. As a Systems Engineer, you will work closely with both our clients and internal teams to create customized solutions, where you are involved in the entire process from requirement specification to finished product.

As a Systems Engineer at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technical challenges where you get to use your problem-solving skills while contributing to the development of innovative solutions. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, working closely with clients and technical leaders to ensure that all solutions meet both client and industry requirements.

We are looking for you who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to act as the hub of complex projects. You have experience in developing technical system solutions and enjoy working with multiple interfaces. For us, it is also important that you have an open attitude towards collaboration, both internally within AFRY and externally with our clients.

As a consultant at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work in both in-house projects and on site at our clients, depending on the nature of the project and your own interests and competencies.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, we believe you have a university degree in systems engineering, electronics, computer science or equivalent work experience. You have experience of designing and developing technical systems and components and have worked with the entire chain from requirements specification to finished product.

Experience of requirements management, preferably with tools such as Doors or equivalent, is an advantage. You have the ability to see the big picture and enjoy having many contacts both internally and externally. We also see that you are a strong problem solver and have the ability to work in teams to solve complex technical challenges.

To thrive in the role, it is important that you have good communication skills and can express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

Advantageous experience for this role is:

  • Experience in software/electronics
  • Ability to read and understand design documents
  • Ability to work according to security regulations and undergo necessary clearances if required for the position

As many of our positions involve work subject to defense secrecy, security clearance with registry check may be required
