Have you worked as a Systems Engineer, i.e. with holistic thinking, complex technical systems, Systems Engineering, systems of systems and several phases of a system's life cycle and requirements management? Then you could be the one we are looking for!

Our team of dedicated people is looking for a Systems Engineer/Technical Project Manager who is eager to meet the diverse needs of our clients. We work with government agencies and companies in the defense sector to create secure end-to-end solutions, streamline processes and contribute to complex system development.

The tasks can vary depending on which customer and which assignment you work with, and in which phase of the system's life cycle, but common to all is that you get the opportunity to work with advanced and complex systems that make a difference to society.

Qualifications

We are now looking for a Systems Engineer/Technical Project Manager who is used to working with larger and more complex systems that require good collaboration skills. As a consultant and experienced, you contribute with customer value and additional sales.  You have a good understanding of the entire system life cycle and are confident in navigating between technology, requirements and collaboration.

 We want you to meet the following requirements: 

• Civil engineer (or university engineer) specialization from, for example, Systems in Technology and Society (STS), Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering. Longer work experience in systems work, Systems Engineering, systems of systems, can also meet the requirements.
• Experience from defense or defense-related areas, preferably also of FMV's processes and working methods or the equivalent in the defense industry.
• Several years of professional experience of the following: systems work, systems engineering, systems of systems, life cycle perspective, technical project management/project participation, complex technical systems, requirements management, requirements verification, configuration management, ILS (Integrated Logistics Support), and/or the life cycle model ISO 15288.
• Experience of several of a system's life cycle phases (concept, development, production, operation, maintenance, decommissioning).
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing, as documentation, review and communication constitute a large part of the work.

Advantageous to have:

• Experience in the consulting profession
• Certification from the international Systems Engineering organization INCOSE
• Experience with requirements management tools and model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
• Experience in computational science/programming thinking (mathematical modeling, numerical methods, programming and simulation, visualization and analysis) or experience from the EMC field

Depending on the assignment, you can sometimes work on site at the customer. Business trips also occur.
