Job description
We are now looking for an experienced and committed Technology Manager for Land/Street/Road to join our team. As an Engineering Manager you will play a key role in the planning, design and implementation of road, land and street projects. You will lead the technical team and ensure that our projects meet the highest technical standards while delivering to client requirements and expectations. Assignments vary from smaller local assignments to more complex assignments running over several years. You will be responsible for the budget, schedule and quality of the engineering area.
You will have a good knowledge of AutoCad Civil 3D or Novapoint and be familiar with AMA.
As part of our team, you will actively participate in the planning and design of land, street, road and other infrastructure facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects comply with all relevant technical standards and regulations, which is essential for delivering high-quality solutions. You will also work closely with other disciplines and stakeholders to create integrated and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of the projects. Your role will include monitoring and evaluating the technical execution during the course of the projects to ensure that everything is progressing according to plan and that quality is maintained. Your drive and commitment to AFRY's network of land, street and road projects will be an important part of your role and contribute to both your and the team's success.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a high school, university, or civil engineering education with a focus on civil engineering, or the equivalent, and at least 3 years of experience in design and technical management in land, street and road projects. You have proven experience in leading and developing technical teams. You have good financial and business acumen and experience in managing budgets and resources with good financial insight.Language skills are also important, and you need to have good knowledge of both Swedish and English to be able to communicate with both national and international parties. We would also like to see that you have experience of working with sustainability issues as it is an important part of the work for long-term success. You have strong communication skills and can clearly convey information to different stakeholders. Your ability to collaborate with other disciplines and external parties ensures that projects are implemented smoothly and efficiently, resulting in integrated and sustainable solutions.In summary, we are looking for a committed and knowledgeable technical leader who can take responsibility for ensuring that our projects not only meet today's requirements, but also help shape the future of society in a sustainable and efficient way.
