Job description

We are now looking for a dedicated Technology Manager for Land/Street/Road or/and Water to join our team. As an Engineering Manager you will play a key role in the planning, design and implementation of road, land and street projects. You will lead the engineering team and ensure that our projects meet the highest technical standards while being delivered according to client requirements and expectations. Assignments vary from smaller local assignments to more complex assignments running over several years. You will be responsible for the budget, schedule and quality of the engineering area.

You will have a good knowledge of AutoCad Civil 3D or Novapoint and be familiar with AMA.

You will be responsible for ensuring that projects comply with all relevant technical standards and regulations, which is essential to deliver high quality solutions.

You will also work closely with other disciplines and stakeholders to create integrated and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of the projects. Your role will include monitoring and evaluating the technical execution during the course of the projects to ensure that everything proceeds according to plan and that quality is maintained.

In addition, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients and partners, which is key to driving the projects forward. Your drive and commitment to AFRY's network of land, street and road projects will be an important part of your role and contribute to both your and the team's success.

You will be based in our office in Norrköping or Jönköping.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university or civil engineering degree with a focus on civil engineering, or the equivalent, and at least four years of experience in design and technical management in land, street and road and / or water and sewage projects. You have proven experience in leading and developing technical teams. You have good financial and business acumen and experience in managing budgets and resources with good financial insight.

Furthermore, you have relevant knowledge of legislation, standards and technical guidelines governing the work in these areas to ensure that projects comply with applicable regulations and maintain the highest possible quality.

Language skills are also important, and you need to have good knowledge of both Swedish and English to be able to communicate with both national and international parties

It is meritorious if you have experience of sourcing, i.e. working with or coordinating assignments carried out by international colleagues, for example in India or Poland. We would also like to see that you have experience of working with sustainability issues as it is an important part of the work for long-term success.

As a person, you are easy to create commitment and collaboration within a team and are skilled at directing the work towards set goals. You have strong communication skills and can clearly convey information to different stakeholders. Your ability to collaborate with other disciplines and external parties ensures that projects are implemented smoothly and efficiently, resulting in integrated and sustainable solutions.
