Job description

AFRY is one of the leading players in Scandinavia and works closely with clients in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical technology. We are now looking for technical project managers who want to contribute to the solutions of the future in Life Science.

We are a dedicated team that helps our customers develop the life science products and processes of the future. We mainly work with projects in pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical engineering plants, media systems and equipment. As a technical project manager at AFRY Life Science, you are responsible for projects in various phases such as feasibility study, design and implementation, and sometimes you also have budget responsibility. The projects are of varying size and technical nature, e.g. you will lead projects related to building new production facilities, implementing production relocations and working on optimizations of existing processes and equipment. Projects also include coordination and management of specifications, procurement of components and equipment, automation, commissioning, testing and validation. The work is carried out at the customer's site and/or at one of AFRY's offices. 

Qualifications

With your good communication skills and enthusiasm, you will help the team to achieve good results. Working in a structured and quality-conscious way is also a matter of course for you. Furthermore, it is in your nature to be social, flexible and that you have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new projects and customer needs.

 We also believe that you can tick off the following skills / experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in Life Science and experience of project management in the manufacturing industry.
  • An engineering degree or a scientific university degree.
  • Ability to express yourself fluently in English and Swedish, in both speech and writing.

Advantageous experience:

  • If you have any type of project management certification, it is meritorious.
  • B-driving license

To thrive in the role, you need to be driven, self-motivated and have an easy time communicating with others.  You are structured, analytical and have the ability to take the big picture into account without losing focus on the delivery.You appreciate variety in work tasks and adapting to change comes naturally.
