The Electrical, Automation & Industrial IT section in the Life Science business area is now looking for a Technical Project Manager in Automation who wants to lead and drive automation projects in a high-tech and GMP regulated production environment in Life Science. The role combines deep technical understanding of both PLC and DCS systems with the ability to plan, coordinate and deliver projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality. There may also be travel associated with the assignment.

As a Technical Project Manager in Automation you will:

Lead automation projects from feasibility study and design to commissioning, validation and handover to the operating organization. Coordinate resources, schedules and budget in close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers. Ensure technical solutions in both PLC and DCS environments, including integration with SCADA, MES and other production systems. Drive improvement initiatives and implement new technologies to optimize production and maintenance. Ensure that all solutions meet GMP and other regulatory requirements. Act as support for automation engineers in the team.

 

 

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Technical education at college / university level in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent.
  • Experience with PLC and/or DCS systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience in automation, of which at least 2 years in a leading role.
  • Experience of participating and / or leading projects in regulated industry, preferably Life Science.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English (speech and writing).

Advantageous is:

  • Knowledge of validation work (IQ/OQ/PQ) and change control (CC) in GMP environment.
  • Experience of integration between automation systems and superior IT systems.
  • Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in Life Science, pharmaceutical industry, food industry, healthcare, energy or other regulated industry
