Job description

Here in Uppsala, we help customers to set requirements and develop sustainable and safe systems, products and services for a variety of industries. The SpaceTech Systems section operates in the areas of Space Technology and Robust Sensor, Radar and Communication Systems as well as AI & Data Engineering.

Our skills and experience are used for commercial and socially important applications and in research programs, and contribute to strengthening Sweden's security and defense capabilities.We support our customers in the development of robust, optimized and flexible solutions at system and design level and in the development of customers' products through all project phases.

As a technical project manager in Sensor and Radar Systems, or Space Technology, you lead development projects from feasibility study to commissioning. You work closely with both customers and development teams. You need to have experience of developing systems, products or services in one of the areas mentioned, or alternatively in another area with similar types of requirements and challenges in complex environments. As a consultant with us, you work independently or in teams in varied and developing environments.

The location is at our office in Uppsala, but travel to customers or other types of business trips are also part of your everyday life.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Experience in technical project management in the mentioned or similar areas
  • Academic education, at least a university engineer or civil engineer
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience
  • Strong interest in technology, business benefits and people!
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

Preferred are:

  • Project manager certification
  • Experience from defense or government projects
  • Consulting experience
