Job description

Are you interested in exploring how future societies can become more resilient to climate change while ensuring climate justice? We at AFRY are looking for students who are writing their thesis and who want to contribute to future solutions in social sustainability and climate adaptation. 

With us, you will have the opportunity to gain insight and knowledge in current challenges at the intersection of community planning, climate and social sustainability. We are open to your own ideas and are happy to shape the thesis together with you based on your interests and our business.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Studies at master's level in urban planning, environmental science, sustainable development or similar, and writes his or her degree project in Swedish or English
   
• Have an interest in social issues, climate issues and system change
   
• Want to make a difference through research and analysis in practice                                                                 

Start: By appointment, preferably fall semester 2025
Location: We who will supervise you are located in Stockholm and Gothenburg. Hybrid solutions are possible,
