Job description

We are now looking for a Production Planner in Trollhättan on behalf of our client. In this role you are responsible for planning production both internally and at external partners.

You work closely with operational purchasing, production and project managers, and have an active role in following up and reporting material and production status to the project organization. Your main tasks include:

• Create spare parts forecasts based on statistical analysis for material consumption.
• Develop analysis tools in order to streamline the work with strategic material supply.
• Update control parameters for materials on an ongoing basis in order to ensure spare parts supply and optimize capital tie-up.
• Create purchase audits of materials.
• Manages customer orders for spare parts, which means handling customer requests, responding to quotes and initiating deliveries of spare parts to customers.
• Coordinates and communicates material needs with internal workshops at meetings.
• Prepares and participates in planning meetings for the value stream.
• Participates in supplier meetings when necessary.
• Contributes to developing working methods to improve forecast reliability.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an academic degree in, for example, logistics, production technology or industrial economics - or equivalent experience.

To succeed in the role, we believe that you are: 

- Strong interest in working with continuous improvements.

- Experience in Supply Chain.

- Fluent in both Swedish and English.

- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

- Good analytical skills.

- Good team development and networking skills.

- Good interpersonal skills.

It is advantageous if you have experience working within SAP.

As the role involves working within the defense industry, Swedish citizenship is a requirement. A security check and a drug test are a requirement for this position and you need to be comfortable with this.

The assignment is on site at the customer's premises in Trollhättan.
