Job description

Do you want to help ensure that products comply with applicable regulations and contribute to a safer and more sustainable market? We are now looking for an experienced and curious consultant in Product Compliance who wants to work with our customers with some of the most current regulations in the EU and the rest of the world.

As a consultant with us, you will support our customers in interpreting, implementing and following up on requirements according to current legislation. You will have an important role in ensuring that our customers can place their products on the market in all sales countries.

The assignments vary over time but may include:

• Reviewing technical documentation, CE marking and risk assessments
• Conducting risk analysis and GAP analysis
• Driving CE marking and certification processes
• Communicating with authorities
• Examining legal and market specific requirements and translating the requirements into technical specifications

Who are we? 

Our Compliance & Quality Management (CQM) section consists of about 25 employees in Mälardalen, Malmö and Gothenburg. The section is run by Service Area Manager Lars together with our Team Leader Jacob. Among our employees, who are everything from new graduates to seniors, there is a broad competence in quality, compliance and business development. We work with products throughout their life cycle as well as processes throughout the company's organization in different industries and organizations.   

Qualifications

We would like you to have:

• Relevant university education in engineering, environment or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of experience working with product legislation, preferably in the manufacturing industry or as a consultant
• Good knowledge of one or more of the following regulations: Battery Regulation, Machinery Directive/Regulation, Product Safety Regulation, REACH, RoHS
• Ability to interpret and apply EU legislation in practice
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing

We will be extra happy if you also have:

• Competence in RED and the new cybersecurity requirements
