Do you want to work in a challenging and stimulating environment and be part of a team working with absolute key technologies and welding?

Then you should look here! We are now looking for welding engineers or welding specialists for specific assignments in the aerospace industry. You will work on a wide range of tasks, from daily production support to the development of new products and technologies. You will be involved in ensuring that the customer creates capable manufacturing processes with regard to welding and that the products have the right conditions to be delivered with world-class quality.

The company is currently facing exciting challenges with an accelerating AM journey and a growing proportion of welded products.

You will belong to a wonderful team of specialists and work on exciting projects as well as supporting daily production.

Duties

The duties will include:

• Develop, improve and qualify processes by working on the development of welding parameters
• Automation of welding processes and fixture production
• Provide specialist knowledge in different types of development projects
• Monitor and analyze process capability
• Production review of drawing documents
• Be involved in investments and implementation of new technologies
• Assess and review the producibility of products
• Participate in the development of training materials and to train, instruct and certify welding operators
• Introduce new welding methods, equipment, instructions and procedures
• Continuously improve welding processes and existing work practices

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a technical college education, production engineering vocational training or other relevant education/experience. IWE, IWT or IWS training is an advantage. As we operate in a global environment, in addition to Swedish, you need to have good knowledge of English, both in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have any of this to succeed in the role:

• Relevant experience in welding
• Analytical ability and be a good problem solver
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Skilled in communicating and creating good relationships
• Be driven and enjoy working with others
• Ability to work flexibly and quality-oriented to find technical and sustainable solutions of high quality
• Experience of or knowledge of welding methods LBW, GTAW, EBW, PAW and RW
• Experience and knowledge of Additive Manufacturing
• Experience from production engineering work
• Robot and automation knowledge
• Knowledge of materials in the Aerospace industry such as titanium and super alloys
