Job description

Are you passionate about welding and do you want to be our new team player in the Qualification center?

We are now looking for a new welding inspector in the Stockholm area who wants to become our local contact for welding companies in the area. You will have support from our central welding organization at the Qualification Center in Borlänge.

As a welding inspector, you will bring your expertise and visit existing and new customers.

• Perform personal certification of welders at customer sites
• Monitor WPQR
• Support our customers with WeldWard -our digital tool for managing welding documentation
• Keep up to date on industry standards
• Travel to various workplaces in Stockholm and neighboring areas when needed

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the welding industry, e.g. welder, welding supervisor, inspection and testing
• IWS, IWT and IWE are meritorious
• Should be able to communicate in Swedish and English in speech and writing
• As a welding inspector at AFRY Qualification center, you will receive internal training for the role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to different work sites in Stockholm and surrounding areas
