Job Description

Would you like to work with advanced electrical design at the forefront of automotive development? We are now looking for an experienced wiring harness designer who wants to help develop the vehicles of the future together with our customers.

With us, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a technically challenging environment, closely involved with both product development and production—as part of a team characterized by collaboration, drive, and a “can-do” attitude.

As a wiring harness designer, you’ll be a key player on a team responsible for electrical design in vehicles. You’ll work throughout the entire development chain—from concept to industrialization.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in the development of electrical systems and wiring harnesses
• Develop technical solutions in line with customer requirements
• Drive and coordinate development activities together with internal experts and external partners
• Ensure technical dialogue with design, production, purchasing, and suppliers
• Contribute technical expertise and support continuous professional development within the team
• Participate in improvement initiatives related to work methods, innovation, and business development

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced design engineer with strong technical expertise and the ability to take responsibility in complex projects.

We expect you to have:

• A master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• At least 8–10 years of experience in electrical design within the automotive industry 
• Solid experience in wiring harness design, EDS, routing, and electrical system development
• Experience with tools such as Saber
• Experience working with 3D tools such as Creo or Catia
• Experience with vehicle configuration and specification
