Work tasks As a teacher in the after-school program at Vidselskolan and Vistträskskolan, you are responsible for planning, implementing and following up on the teaching of the after-school program's compensatory and complementary assignments. In teaching, you focus on language and knowledge-developing working methods, core value issues, joy of movement and the democracy mission, but also on creating learning environments that are challenging, stimulating and attract students to curiosity and learning. You are part of the leisure center's team that meets weekly to plan, follow up and develop quality work towards increased goal achievement. During the school day, you interact with the preschool class and the primary school in close collaboration with the teaching staff. You are also part of a larger team in the village areas and have joint meetings with the school's teaching staff to jointly drive learning processes and create equality for children in sparsely populated areas. Qualifications We are looking for licensed teachers with a focus on after-school care or licensed after-school educators who have a good insight into the after-school care steering documents. You are positive, committed, flexible and clear in your leadership. As a teacher at Vidselskolan and Vistträskskolan, you need to be responsible and able to work both independently and in a team. It is important that you are able to establish good relationships with both students and guardians. Experience and knowledge of working with children with special needs is an advantage.
