Certified preschool teacher

Älvsbyn Municipality operates a cohesive preschool system where consistency in the implementation, monitoring, and development of our programs forms the foundation for teaching and quality assurance. Our preschool has a high proportion of trained and certified staff with extensive collective experience. The exchange of experiences and collegial learning among staff from all preschool units takes place continuously and in a process-oriented manner throughout the school year.

Job Responsibilities:

Teaching and educational work with children in groups based on the preschool’s curriculum. As a preschool teacher, you serve as an educational leader and, together with your colleagues, drive and develop the teaching and systematic quality assurance efforts at the preschool.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher. You have strong pedagogical insights and are well-versed in policy documents and systematic quality assurance. You have strong collaborative skills and a willingness to share your knowledge and experience. In your work, you are structured and accustomed to organizing and leading based on children’s needs. You are responsible, confident, and flexible, and you have a holistic view of children’s learning and a commitment to inclusive education. In your work, you bring enthusiasm, energy, and passion; you engage both children and colleagues; and you are someone who sees opportunities and solutions.

General

Summer position with terms as per agreement. Individual salary determination applies; please state your salary expectations. The municipality strives for an even distribution between women and men as well as increased diversity in all professional fields. We require a probationary period for new hires. An extract from the police criminal records database is required.
