Job Responsibilities
As a middle school teacher, your primary responsibility is to plan, conduct, and follow up on lessons. At Parkskolan, you’ll focus on the mission of learning and work in a dynamic environment with a strong belief that academic success is built on collaboration—collaboration between teachers and students, between school and home, and among the various areas of expertise within the school. You will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment—both physically and socially—and you will be expected to contribute to the quality improvement of both your own teaching and the school as a whole. The position includes mentoring, as you will serve as the homeroom teacher for a group of students.
Qualifications
You hold a teaching certification with authorization to teach in the early years of elementary school, grades 4–6.
We are looking for teachers who are skilled leaders. It is important that you are able to lead your class in a relationship-based manner while optimizing your students’ development by both supporting and challenging them in their learning. You adapt your teaching to the needs of the group and individual students. Experience with and knowledge of working with children with special needs is a plus.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
These are permanent, full-time (100%) positions with a start date of January 11, 2027. We may require a probationary period for new hires.
An extract from the police’s suspicion and criminal records registry is required. Hiring is contingent upon the necessary decisions being made.
