Work tasks You will work with follow-ups, evaluations, collaboration, work environment management and systematic quality work. Furthermore, you participate to a large extent operationally and close to the daily activities. You will be involved in the school's values and safety work, and work together with the school's EHT team to ensure that our students get the help they need to achieve their goals. Exactly what your assignment will look like you will shape together with the principal. Together with the headteacher, you are responsible for ensuring that the business is run in accordance with current governing documents, towards set goals. You will participate in the development of a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students. As an assistant principal, you will collaborate with our teachers and our partners to ensure that our students receive a relevant and up-to-date education that gives them good conditions for future work. Your profile We are looking for you who have an academic degree in education, experience in educational leadership and a genuine interest in young people and their learning. It is desirable that you have managerial experience and possess basic knowledge of finance, contracts, and laws in the personnel area as well as good IT skills. You are familiar with the governing documents, structure and working methods of upper secondary schools. You have good communication skills and express yourself well in both speech and writing. It would be an advantage if you have started or completed your principal training, previous leadership experience from upper secondary school, experience from vocational training and collaboration between school and business. To succeed in the work as an assistant principal, you need to be a responsive, clear and visible educational leader who puts the student in focus and, with the business at the center, has the ability to enthusiastically engage employees and drive the educational work forward. You are results- and goal-oriented, have an analytical and strategic approach and an open and unpretentious way of communicating. You are good at organizing, creating structure and routines and you are strong and persistent in a change process.
