We are looking for you who are driven and development-oriented with good analytical ability while being responsive Responsibilities/tasks Responsible for maintaining continuous and systematic communication with business representatives on behalf of the municipality, with the aim of stimulating a good business climate in the municipality. Cooperate with the tourism industry to jointly spread knowledge about the municipality as a place. Run and develop the function of an immigration pilot, to lower the thresholds for moving in. This is done in collaboration with both internal activities within the municipality, the business community and other relevant actors such as the Public Employment Service, universities, trade fairs and the like. Processing various types of grants, and developing this type of service in the municipality, so that accessibility for citizens is relevant to the purpose. Run, report on, and/or act as a project worker in collaborative projects aimed at stimulating business in the region. This may involve cooperation projects between several municipalities, or with another authority that is tasked with supporting business development in Älvsbyn and/or Norrbotten in some way. Run and report on investigations of various kinds that the municipality and business community may have an interest in. Assignments often come from the municipal board, another political body (e.g. via a motion), or from the civil service management. Participate in the planning, implementation and follow-up of the municipality's business breakfasts and newsletters. Establish and/or develop policy documents relevant to the area of activity. Contribute with development ideas to the immediate manager to optimize the benefit of the business developer function and achieve the best possible citizen benefit. Qualifications You have a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the assignment (political science, law, economics, or behavioral sciences) or equivalent knowledge acquired through other means. You must have good interpersonal and communication skills and have a good command of the Swedish language, both written and spoken, and be able to make yourself understood in English. You should have good administrative skills and be comfortable with the Microsoft365 package, such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and other common applications required in the work.
