There is a need for summer workers in the following areas: For elderly care - Assistant nurse or care assistant In elderly care, we offer temporary positions in either home care or one of our two special homes. As a summer substitute with us, you will work closely with our elderly users, be a key person in creating a meaningful existence and help them with everything related to their daily lives, among other things: - Personal care (hygiene, dressing, showering). - Meals and socializing. - activities and walks - Service activities such as cleaning and laundry. - Documentation according to current procedures. For care of the disabled - Support assistant/support worker or personal assistant In disability care, we offer temporary positions in our various group homes where users with different types of functional variations live in their own apartments, but with the support of staff around them. We also offer temporary positions as personal assistants where you work with the same user in their own home. As a substitute with us, you will be a key person in enabling an independent and rich life for our users. Your duties will vary depending on the needs of the individual, but may include: - Personal care: Assistance with hygiene and dressing and undressing. - Everyday chores: Help with cooking, cleaning and shopping. - Leisure & Social Activities: Accompanying them on walks, outings, movies or other interests. - Structure & security: Be a stable support and help create structure in everyday life. For summer open preschool and after-school care - Preschool teacher or after-school teacher During the summer, the activities in preschool and after-school care are conducted to a more limited extent, which means that only one department at after-school care and one preschool are open, usually v.27-31. Your main tasks will include: - Participating in and leading educational activities and play, both indoors and outdoors. - Assisting with mealtimes and naptimes. - Contributing to a safe and caring environment for the children. - Collaborating with colleagues and, when necessary, communicating with guardians. For the Food and Facilities Management Unit - Food Service Staff, Cook or Facilities Manager In this business, we offer temporary positions in either a larger preparation kitchen where meals for, among other things, elderly care and preschool are prepared, where you work in a team with others. Alternatively, in a reception kitchen at one of our preschools. The tasks include: - Preparation: Helping with the 'prep' of ingredients, such as rinsing, peeling and chopping vegetables. - Serving: Portioning out food or serving and preparing delivered food. - Dishwashing and cleaning: Responsible for dishwashing (dishwasher and hand dishwashing) as well as ongoing cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen and dining room to ensure a high standard of hygiene. - Goods handling: receiving goods deliveries and orders. - Cooking: Cooking of various types depending on the workplace and other common tasks in the kitchen. In the area of cleaning, you work with various types of cleaning work in the municipality's business premises. The work is mainly performed as lone work and includes: - Mopping and cleaning of floor surfaces. - Cleaning of sanitary facilities (toilets, showers). - dusting of surfaces, fixtures and fittings - Emptying waste bins and handling waste - replenishing consumables such as toilet paper and hand soap Who are we looking for? The work in our organizations largely involves helping and supporting other people in various ways. Therefore, we are looking for people who are: - Empathetic and responsive: you have a genuine interest in people and their needs and have a good ability to build good relationships. - Responsible and flexible: You are reliable, take responsibility for your tasks and are ready to roll up your sleeves when needed. - Positive and cheerful: You bring energy and a good attitude to residents, relatives and colleagues. - Self-motivated: You can take your own initiative but also enjoy working as part of a team, with the manager and other professionals. - Communicative: You can speak and understand Swedish well for good communication with users, children, colleagues and relatives. You also have no problem expressing yourself in writing, as documentation and written information are a large part of the work in many organizations. Relevant education and/or experience is an advantage, or you may be studying in a relevant field, but your personality and attitude are important. A B license is a requirement in some activities, such as home care. Other information Please indicate in your application the activity/activities for which you are applying. In most of the activities, the duration of the substitution is 8 weeks during the vacation periods, but the duration may vary depending on the needs. Therefore, we would like you to be available on a full-time basis during the vacation periods, which fall between June and August. Working hours vary between different activities and may include evenings, weekends and nights in addition to daytime. Temporary positions are mainly full-time, but variations may occur.
