Poppelns gruppbostad is an LSS organization where adults with disabilities live and receive support in their everyday lives. We work individually and goal-oriented to create a meaningful life for our care recipients. The work is done both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues at the group home. We also collaborate with other units in the care of the disabled. You may be assigned to another workplace within the organization if necessary.
Job duties
As a support assistant, your main task is to support users in their daily routines and activities. You work based on the individual's needs and implementation plan, with a focus on strengthening independence and quality of life.
The role also includes:
- Documentation and planning
- Some nursing tasks on delegation from the nurse
Working hours
The post is full-time with working hours spread over days, evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Nursing and care program with a focus on disabilities or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
- Experience of working with the target group is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills, flexibility and responsibility.
- Knowledge of sign language or sign language support is highly advantageous.
- Great importance will be attached to your personal qualities as, in addition to formal competences, these are important factors for success in the professional role.
