About the position In the role of community planner, you work with planning of land and water areas and actively contribute to the development of the municipality's physical environment and business community. You are involved in the entire community planning process - from strategic planning issues to concrete detailed plans - and contribute with a holistic perspective on how land and resources should be used to achieve the best possible social benefit. You need to work in a structured way. You must be able to cooperate and work independently, and have the ability to build relationships and create trust, as you also have a key role in the work with future establishments in the municipality. The work takes place in close collaboration with colleagues in the municipality's spatial planning department, politicians, authorities, developers and other external stakeholders. Work tasks - Participation in the municipality's spatial planning process and strategic planning work - Work with detailed plans and master plans - Work with land and development issues - Collaboration and dialog with internal and external stakeholders - Contribute to the development of sustainable, functional and equal living environments - Contribute to the development of strategies and procedures Qualifications We are looking for people who have: - Relevant university degree in urban planning, spatial planning, urban design or equivalent - Experience of the spatial planning process with a focus on spatial planning at municipal level - Experience of working with detailed plans, master plans - Experience of working with land and development issues, as well as land purchases, contract writing and administrative matters - Experience of working in developer-driven projects - B-driving license is a requirement It is an advantage if you also have: - Experience with GIS and/or the detailed planning tool Focus. - Knowledge or experience of digitalization of the spatial planning process - Experience of working in developer-driven projects. - Experience in a similar type of role - Good local knowledge of Älvsbyn and the municipality's business community Personal qualities are To thrive in the role, we see that you are: - Solution-oriented and analytical - Responsive, communicative and good team player - Driven, self-motivated and structured - Confident in taking responsibility and driving processes forward With us, you have access to benefits such as vacation exchange, salary exchange and the opportunity to work remotely.
