Aquatech AB is looking for a qualified quality inspector with specialist skills in welding and mechanical inspection for a major construction project in Norrbotten.
The position is full-time with a rotation schedule 6/2 and based in Boden / Luleå.
We are looking for you who have documented experience of welding inspection according to European standards, good understanding of EN regulations and the ability to work in a structured way in a complex project environment.

Duties
- Supervise welding and mechanical works carried out by subcontractors
- Ensure that all work complies with project specifications, EN standards and Swedish and European regulations
- Liaise with clients, Aquatech team, NOBO representatives and subcontractors
- Identify and report quality deviations, manage rework and close out deviations
- Provide daily inspection reports with observations, Experience
- IWI (International Welding Inspector) certification or equivalent experience
- Certification or at least 5 years of experience in welding inspection
- Experience in EN standards and new build fabrication
- NDT certifications in PT, MT, UT, RT is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/move up to 25kg
- Comfortable working at height, in confined spaces and on scaffolding
- Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
