Production and Warehouse Manager for Baxter (formerly Liko)

Liko is part of Baxter. At Baxter's production site in Alvik, Luleå, we manufacture Liko lifting products.

Are you interested in a leadership role at a world-leading medical technology company that won the Swedish Lean Award 2021? We are now looking for a Production and Warehouse Manager whose main task is to run and manage our four value streams; two production operations and two warehouses in Alvik, Luleå. The position is directly subordinate to the Plant Manager and has three group leaders reporting directly to him. The group leaders in turn have a total of about fifty employees under them. The role is part of the site's management team.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience from a leadership position in production / warehouse operations and who are driven by constantly improving processes. You have a strategic mindset and are used to solving problems in a systematic way. You have good communication skills and enjoy working in a global environment.

Duties:

• Lead, develop and coach team leaders in their daily work to ensure the operational running of the business.
• Work environment responsibility for the production and warehouse operations.
• Lead and drive our production and warehouse operations to achieve set goals in safety, quality, delivery and cost reduction.
• Budget and personnel responsibility for the production and warehouse units.
• Drive continuous improvement of production and warehouse processes in accordance with Lean and Baxter Operational System.
• Ensure systematic implementation, accuracy and regular follow-up of production data and KPIs in the business.
• Ensure that all products and processes comply with applicable internal and external quality systems, processes and standard requirements.
• Drive and implement various business related projects.

Qualifications:

• University degree in relevant field
• Several years of experience in management position in production/warehouse operations
• Knowledge of Lean methodologies/Six Sigma
• Advanced with knowledge in the medical device industry
• Advanced with knowledge of standard requirements for quality systems and medical devices (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO14001, Medical Device Directive, Canadian Medical Device Regulation)
• You speak and write Swedish and English fluently
