Job Description

We are now looking for a Shift Leader. This is a relatively new role with us. The purpose of the role is to improve and develop communication and management during times when production managers and other managers are not in place. The shift leader will be an important and cohesive function for the company.

The shift leaders are two people and go the following shifts, one month at a time: Permanent night and permanent afternoon. The hours for permanent afternoon are as follows: Monday-Thursday, 14.00-23.30 including 30 minutes break. Night work follows our regular night shift.

Your main tasks are to:

• Prioritize and ensure proper allocation of resources in production, maintenance and logistics.
• Motivate and support employees
• Ensure that the production plan is followed
• Ensure that daily routines and BENTELER standards are followed
• Solve problems and answer questions from team leaders in particular
• Act as acting team leader in production in case of vacancies or absences.

Qualifications

The applicant needs to have worked as a team leader or similar and have good knowledge of processes in manufacturing industry. You need to be able to communicate in speech and writing in both Swedish and English and have good computer skills.

Of course, you think it's fun to lead others and to see people succeed. As a person, you are self-driven, proactive and good at communicating and collaborating. In this role, you also need to dare to make your own decisions and be able to see the big picture in order to be able to prioritize resources.

As the services are constantly night and afternoon, you need to have a long-term willingness to work these types of working hours.
